Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data BiasForge (the "Service", operated by the owner of BiasForge — the "Operator", "we") collects, why, and what your rights are. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service, we do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.

1. Data we collect

Account

• Discord profile basics when you sign in with Discord: your Discord ID, username and avatar. We never see your Discord password.
• Subscription status (tier, start/expiry) managed by the Operator.

Content you create

• Trading Journal entries: the trade details you enter (pair, side, prices, leverage, results), your written reasons, and any screenshots you upload.
• AI chat messages (Platinum): your messages and the AI's replies, stored so your conversations persist.

Wallet and trading data

• Wallet public addresses you connect (Phantom, Solflare, Jupiter). Public keys only — connecting a wallet for manual trading never shares a private key with us.
• Auto trading (Platinum, opt-in only): if you enable auto trading you provide a wallet private key, which we store encrypted at rest and use solely to sign trades within the limits you configure. It is deleted when you remove the wallet. Your auto-trade settings (mode, caps, risk %) and a record of trades executed for you are also stored.
• Trade records created by the journal's auto-capture (open time, entry, stop/TPs, outcome) where you enable it.

Technical

• A session cookie (bf_session) that keeps you logged in.
• Local preferences (theme, chart settings, drawings) stored in your own browser's localStorage — they never leave your device.
• Server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) kept for security and debugging, rotated routinely.

2. How we use your data

• To provide the Service: log you in, show your journal, execute the auto-trading you configured, remember your settings.
• To generate your recaps, statistics and (Platinum) personalised AI coaching from your own journal.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
• To contact you about your account via Discord where needed.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. AI processing

Platinum AI chat and journal coaching are powered by a third-party large-language-model provider (Anthropic). Your chat messages, a live market snapshot and — when you ask for coaching — relevant journal data are sent to that provider to generate the response. The AI is technically restricted to curated, read-only data tools scoped to your own account: it cannot read other users' data.

4. Who can see your data

• You — your journal, screenshots, chats, settings and trade records are shown only to your logged-in account.
• The Operator (admin) can access stored data for support, security and abuse-prevention, and can review AI chat conversations for quality and safety oversight. Admins do not see wallet private keys, which are stored encrypted.
• Processors that host or power the Service: our hosting provider (EU-based server), Discord (login), the AI provider (Platinum chat), and public market-data sources. Each receives only what is needed for its role.
• Nobody else, unless we are legally required to disclose (e.g. a valid court order) or you direct us to.

5. Blockchain data is public

Trades placed with your wallet (manually or via auto trading) are recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is public, permanent and outside anyone's control — including ours. Wallet addresses and their transaction history are visible to anyone. Do not connect a wallet whose history you want to keep private.

6. Cookies and localStorage

We use one essential cookie (bf_session, expires after 7 days) to keep you signed in — no analytics cookies, no ad trackers, no cross-site anything. Appearance and chart preferences live in your browser's localStorage and can be cleared by you at any time through your browser.

7. Retention and deletion

• Journal entries and screenshots: kept until you delete them (deleting an entry also deletes its screenshot files) or your account is deleted.
• AI chat sessions: kept until you delete them or your account is deleted.
• Encrypted auto-trading keys: deleted immediately when you remove the wallet or the feature is revoked.
• Account, subscription and trade records: kept while your account exists and for a reasonable period afterwards where required for security, dispute-resolution or legal obligations.
• To delete your account and associated data, contact the Operator via the BiasForge Discord; we will act on verified requests without undue delay.

8. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Auto-trading private keys are encrypted at rest with a key held separately from the database. Access to production systems is restricted to the Operator. No system is perfectly secure — see the Terms of Service for the risk allocation — but we treat key material and personal data with strict care and will inform affected users of any breach as required by law.

9. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, export and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Most of this you can do directly in the Service (edit/delete journal entries, delete chats, unlink wallets, remove keys); for anything else, contact the Operator via Discord. Our legal bases are performance of the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b)), your consent for opt-in features like auto trading (Art. 6(1)(a), withdrawable at any time), and our legitimate interest in securing the Service (Art. 6(1)(f)).

10. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor is using the Service, contact us and we will remove the account.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves; the "Last updated" date will change and material changes may be announced on the site or Discord. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
